Shenzhen Now Allows Trading of Data Like Other Commodities

The city of Shenzhen in China now allows trading involving the buying and selling of data between companies, more or less like any other commodity in the market.

With this move, the data market is seen as a new production market and is expected to generate a high amount of income.

To date, a total of 484 companies have registered to participate in this trade, including 98 data providers, in addition to buyers and so on.

This data trading also opens up a new source of income for local governments, in addition to companies – while for other companies it may speed up the validation or development of something new.
