Realme is seen to have started distributing the Android 13 stable update to their users in Malaysia. This update appears to still be using Reame UI 3.0 and not the newer one. It also comes with the October 2022 security patch and has a download size of over 5GB.
In our review, users in Malaysia who received this update were those using the Realme GT 2 Pro. The beta test of Realme UI 3.0 based on Android 13 has already been tested since last August and the stable version has only been distributed since last week in stages.
If Realme is on schedule, the next devices that will receive this update are the GT Neo 3, GT 2 and GT Neo 2. Some Realme 9 devices are also on the schedule including the Narzo series. Realme UI 3.0 with Android 13 also uses the same new Aquamorphic design as Color OS 13 and Oxygen OS 13 on Oppo Find X5 Pro and OnePlus 10 Pro/10T devices. This version will also offer Spotify on Always-on Display, security features, deeper customization capabilities and more.
In the future, Realme will also test Realme UI 4.0 which is seen to focus on the use of widgets and possibly with a fresher new design. The Realme UI 4.0 test will be limited to Realme GT Neo 3, GT 2 Pro and GT Neo 2 users only.
