The Suunto 9 Peak Pro watch was launched earlier with several improved features and functions compared to the previous model. This includes a longer battery life of up to 21 days and a new interface that is easier to use.
For those interested, it can be pre-ordered in Malaysia with prices starting at RM2,699 for the Forest Green, Ocean Blue, Pearl Gold and All Black variations. It then increased to RM3,199 for the Titanium Slate and Titanium Sand variants. Availability is through several different channels such as Lazada, Shopee, Solar Time and authorized Suunto distributors throughout Malaysia. An e-voucher worth RM500 and some additional Suunto accessories are also given for free for every pre-booked session.
Suunto 9 Peak Pro is equipped with a round watch frame made of Titanium Grade 5/Stainless steel. 1.2-inch screen with matching Sapphire crystal glass for extra protection. Information about the processing chip has not been disclosed but it is said to be more powerful while also being able to offer better battery life.
Through it, the Suunto 9 Peak Pro is advertised as being able to operate up to 21 with frequent use before needing to be recharged. With the included fast charging capabilities, this watch can be charged to 100% in just 1 hour.
Complementing the watch is a number of built-in health and fitness sensors for monitoring blood oxygen, heart rate, 24/7 activity tracking, sleep patterns and stress status and recovery. In addition, it also offers up to 97 sports modes and one of them is a snorkeling mode specifically for diving.
