The new Apple iPad and Apple iPad Pro can finally be purchased in Malaysia today. This 10th generation Apple iPad is equipped with a 10.9-inch screen with a Liquid Retina display, powered by the Apple A14 Bionic chip, 4GB RAM memory, up to 256GB storage, a 12MP main camera, a 12MP selfie camera, as well as WiFi 6 connectivity and 5G network support for cellular version.
In terms of accessories, the iPad also supports the Magic Keyboard Folio and the first generation Apple Pencil. The uniqueness of this year's iPad model is that it is equipped with a USB-C port for the first time and its design is uniform with the iPad Pro and iPad Air where there is no longer a physical home button. Instead the Touch ID fingerprint scanning system is placed on the power button. It comes with the iPadOS 16 operating system
In Malaysia, the 10th generation iPad is offered at a price starting at RM2099 for the 64GB WiFi version and RM2849 for the 64GB 5G version in a choice of yellow, blue, pink and silver.
Meanwhile, the 6th generation iPad Pro comes with 12.9″ and 11″ 120Hz ProMotion screens. Both tablets also include Apple Pencil Gen-2 input support that can be placed on the side of the tablet for recharging.
It is powered by an Apple M2 chip, memory up to 16GB RAM, storage up to 1TB, and a 7538/10758 mAh battery. The main camera is 12MP wide angle, 10MP ultra wide angle and 3D ToF sensor. On the front, a 12MP camera is used along with Face ID support. Like iPad Gen-10, iPad Pro Gen-6 also uses the iPadOS 16 operating system.
In Malaysia, Apple lists the 11-inch iPad Pro tablet offering at a price starting at RM3899, while the 12.9-inch model is available at a price starting at RM5399.
