Twitter Will Add Voice And Video Calling Features

 

Elon Musk has expressed his desire to make Twitter like WeChat, integrating various features into it.

Recently, Elon Musk shared the vision of Twitter 2.0 with a number of employees of the social media service, including saying that he will add fully encrypted messaging support, as well as adding support for voice and video calls.

This will simultaneously make Twitter a communication application among users - at the same time entering the arena dominated by WhatsApp, Google Meet and so on.

In addition, Elon Musk also praised the Signal messaging app, and stated that its founders could potentially help in developing a full encryption feature on Twitter.
