The Xiaomi 12 series is one of the first smart devices equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip. Not only does it have solid internal hardware, its design is also praised for being good enough and easy to handle for various situations.
Commenting further, the updated model for the series has been found leaked through a tweet on Twitter. Known as the Xiaomi 13 Pro, it is rumored to come with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip as the mainstay. Also included is a memory option of up to 12GB RAM and internal storage up to 512GB.
The main camera is 50MP (IMX989) with a 1-inch sensor, in addition to a combination of two other 50MP cameras for telephoto and ultra-wide capabilities. Meanwhile, the selfie camera is 32MP. In the meantime, Xiaomi is also said to be collaborating with Leica for the camera capabilities of this smartphone.
The 4,800mAh battery capacity will also be used with the support of a 120W wired and wireless charging system equipped with Surge C2 and P2 chips. Not to be left out, this phone will also have a 6.7-inch LTPO AMOLED main screen with a refresh rate of at least as high as 120Hz.
For now, no specific launch date has been revealed. But since there are rumors about the launch of Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 which may be held next November. It is possible, there is a possibility that this smartphone will also be announced soon after.
