In addition to activating 5G network support in Malaysia, the iOS 16.2 update provided this morning also activates Apple Music Sing mode for global users. Through Apple Music Sing, Apple Music subscribers can activate a karaoke mode with lyrics synchronized with on-screen audio.
To karaoke, press the microphone icon displayed on the screen. By default, the original singer's audio will be slowed down so that only the music audio can be heard. Users can adjust the strength of the original singer's voice by pressing the same microphone icon.
After trying this feature, we feel it's an interesting mod but not quite perfect. The slowed down voice of the original singer is still audible and does not provide a true minus one musical experience. Apple Music Sing is accessible on iPhone, iPad, and the new Apple TV 4K.
