Displace is a new television brand from the United States that is expected to present a very unique smart television offering. Early details show that this television will use a 55-inch OLED panel and will come with a 4K resolution.
OLED televisions with 4K resolution are not anything special, but the televisions offered by them come with some interesting features that make this television a quite unique choice.
One of the uniqueness of this television comes from the components that power it. This includes the use of CPUs from AMD and also graphics processing chips from NVIDIA, the details of which are not yet known.
This Displace television also weighs around 9KG only, and has an "active-loop vacuum technology" mechanism that allows it to be mounted to the wall without the need to use VESA mounts that normally need to be drilled into the wall.
However, the main uniqueness offered by this television is the use of a replaceable battery pack to reduce dependence on cables to ensure a neater installation.
Displace says that on a full charge, this battery pack can last for a month with daily use of around six hours. It also has support for control using hand gestures and voice through its remote controller.
Even more interesting, although this television has a size of 55 inches only, it can be combined with three other televisions to be built into a 110 inch television that also has a larger resolution.
Displace has confirmed that they will unveil it at CES 2023, and more details about this television will be revealed during the event.
