Twitter's move to block the @ElonJet account may have been based on a reason that angered Elon Musk, namely that his son was being followed by an unknown person.
As is known, @ElonJet is an account managed by Jack Sweeney and posts the movement of Elon's jet. The account's last post before being blocked was mentioning Elon's jet landing in Los Angeles.
Apparently, according to Elon, on the same day an unknown person was stalking the car in which his son was traveling, namely X Æ A-12. Not only stalking, the unknown person even blocked his car and climbed onto the hood.
"Last night Lil X's car in LA was followed by a deranged stalker (who thought it was me) who then blocked the car from moving and climbed onto the hood," Musk wrote in a tweet.
"Legal action will be taken against Sweeney and any organization that supports harm to my family."
Elon himself has previously repeatedly stated that Sweeney's act of posting the movement of his jet was dangerous for his personal safety. Even so, he admitted that he would not block the account on the basis of freedom of opinion.
Maybe it was because of the incident that his son was traveling in a car that made Elon change his mind and block the account, and made Twitter add new rules regarding the dissemination of people's locations in real time, which is categorized as doxxing.
Actually Elon once tried to "silence" Sweeney by offering him USD 5000 and stop being a stalker of Elon's jet. Even then, Elon increased his bid to USD 50 thousand, which until now is unclear.
