In line with the new regulations by the European Union (EU), now they also set a deadline to ensure that all phones use the USB-C connection for wired charging.
The EU set a deadline of December 28, 2024, after which all new phones sold will have to use a USB-C connection for charging.
This includes iPhones that still use the Lightning connection for now.
In addition to phones, these new rules also need to be implemented by other electronic devices such as tablets, digital cameras, headphones, and mobile gaming devices.
