Google Starts Adding Full Encryption Support For GMail On The Web

Google has now announced the addition of full encryption support to its GMail service on the web, giving users more peace of mind when it comes to privacy.

For now, this full encryption support is only supported over the web. With this step, all these email transmissions can only be read by the sender and the recipient - and cannot be read by outside parties, including Google itself.

However, for now, this feature is offered on a limited basis to a number of GMail customers only, namely for Google Workspace Enterprise Plus, Education Plus, and Education Standard.
