Each Huawei wearable device produced has its own focus, both among adult users and children. Recently, two new children's watches from Huawei have been announced, known as Huawei Kids Watch 5X and Huawei Watch 5X Pro.
Both share most of the same internal hardware. But the significant change lies in the physical design. For example, such as the addition of a monochrome secondary screen and an iron-like strap on the pro version. Meanwhile, the standard variant simply supports the main screen with a simple silicone strap.
For specifications, the screen used is a 1.6-inch AMOLED with a resolution of 360 X 360 pixels. The watch frame also packs dual-camera support with a 5MP front and 8MP rear configuration. In the meantime, this frame can also be rotated up to 360 degrees and removed from the watch strap.
Next, 1GB of RAM memory and 8GB of built-in internal storage are also included. Not to be outdone, it also has a cellular connection with a SIM card slot and Wi-Fi, while also supporting Bluetooth 4.2. Both also pass the IPX8 waterproof rating for added protection.
Huawei Watch Kids 5X is sold at RMB1598 (~RM1,011), while the pro variant is available at RMB1989 (~RM1,259) each. No further information on its availability for the Malaysian market is known so far.
