Maxis Users In Sabah And Sarawak Use 32GB Data Per Month On Average

 


Maxis today shared that they are now the first telecommunications company in Malaysia to develop a core network build in Kuching and Kota Kinabali that connects them directly to international content connections.


With this move, it is seen to offer faster connections and speeds, and at lower latency rates, especially for video content.


Maxis said this step was taken due to data usage in Sabah and Sarawak being higher than the national average usage. On average, users in Sabah and Sarwak use 32GB of data per month, and show an increase from month to month.


Maxis said the development of new infrastructure in Sabah and Sarawak, shows an increase in speed and also a decrease in latency compared to before.
