Microsoft Will Completely Shut Down Internet Explorer 11 Via Microsoft Edge Update

Microsoft has announced the end of Internet Explorer before, but there are still some users who still use it.

In ending it completely, Microsoft is now planning an update through Microsoft Edge for Windows 10 devices, and will also end access to Internet Explorer 11 through it.

Microsoft plans to introduce this update on February 14, 2023.

Previously, Microsoft planned to offer an update that disables Internet Explorer access through Windows Update, but now it is shared that it will be done through a Microsoft Edge update. With this step, the process is expected to be done more easily and regularly.

Microsoft previously ended support for Internet Explorer on June 15, 2022, but there are still a number of organizations that still use Internet Explorer.
