Notepad is one of the software that I often use on Windows computers. It makes it easy to take notes quickly or if you want to jot down something - without having to use heavy software like Word and others.
Interestingly, Microsoft is now seen to be preparing to introduce a tab feature on the Notepad application in Windows 11.
With this step, you don't need to open the Notepad window for separate notes. Instead, you can take multiple notes under the same window – but on different tabs. It's pretty much like using a web browser these days.
This sharing was present through a Microsoft employee, before deleting the sharing but was recorded by Windows Central.
For now, it is not known when Microsoft will introduce this feature officially. Could we see tab support on Notepad via a future Windows 11 update?
