MIUI Is Now Used On 564 Million Devices

 

After 12 years of launch, MIUI is now used on over 564 million devices every month. The announcement was made during the recent Xiaomi 13 and MIUI 14 series launch event. Since its introduction, the Android-based launcher has evolved from an operating system for smartphones to a hub of various activities under the Xiaomi ecosystem.

Among the innovations introduced through MIUI 14 is a smaller operating system size with the ability to remove unused files. Smoother animations through a new animation engine and optimizations. During the pandemic the sales of Xiaomi devices rose sharply due to the very reasonable prices compared to competitors. In collaboration with Leica, Xiaomi may finally be able to challenge Samsung and Apple.
