Moonton Reveals M4 Mobile Legends Format, Divided into 2 Stages

The M4 World Championship will be held in a few days. Moonton also revealed the match format that will be used in this Mobile Legends world competition.

Based on our observations from the Mobile Legends Youtube channel: Bang Bang Official, it will be divided into two stages. The first is the Group Stage and the second is the Knockout Stage.

As we previously reported, in the Group Stage itself no team will be eliminated. This is because Moonton only wants to determine which team has the right to fill the slots in the upper and lower brackets.

From the information submitted, there are a total of 22 matches in the M4 World Championship Mobile Legends. For the determination of the upper bracket, based on the top two teams from the Group Stage round.

So for the teams that are in third and fourth positions, you have to be willing to be in the lower bracket. The difference between lower and upper is in the playing opportunities each team gets.

So like this, for a team that is at the top and loses, it doesn't immediately fall. They are still given the last chance to compete in lower.

In contrast to the participants who had already plunged into the lower bracket. When the team loses, it is forced to not be able to continue its struggle in the M4 World Championship, because it has been declared disqualified.

In addition, the competition format is also different, where the upper bracket carries the Best of 5 (Bo5). Meanwhile, in the lower bracket, only Best of 3 (Bo3) and in the grand finals were much more, namely Best of 7 (Bo7).

The fun will be held on January 1-15 2023. All participants are not only fighting for the title, but also a total cash prize of USD 800 thousand.
