Moto X40 Launched With Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, 165Hz Screen And 125W Charging

 


Another device with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip was launched in China with the introduction of the Moto X40. This at least makes it arrive with flagship specifications that are an updated variant of the previous Moto X30.



For specific specifications, the Moto X40 uses a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with FHD+ resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. It is then matched with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM memory and up to 512GB UFS 4.0 internal storage. The battery capacity of 4,600mAh is used with 125W wired and 15W wireless charging.



The main camera configuration consists of 50MP (OIS) + 50MP (ultra-wide) + 12MP (telephoto). Meanwhile, the front camera is 60MP. Also included is the ability to record video up to 4K with the ability to feature horizontal keys when clicking on the current object.


Other specifications include WiFi 6E, bluetooth 5.3, NFC and USB-C connectivity. For the price, it is sold starting at RMB3399 (~RM2,155) (8GB/128GB), RMB3699 (~RM2346) (8GB/256GB), RMB3999 (RM2,536) (12GB/256GB) and RMB4299 (~RM2,726) ( 12GB/512GB).
