Netflix Will Start Streaming Nike Workout Content Starting December 30th

We all know that Apple also cares about the health of their users by offering products such as Apple Watch, the Health application or even Apple Fitness+ which includes content and guidance, including for meditation, exercise, as well as some exercise programs with some popular athletes.

Apple seems to have a competitor, namely Netflix. Starting next December 30, Netflix will start broadcasting exercise and yoga training content.

This content is all from Nike Training Club, which will include a number of 30-hour workout show episodes that will be released in stages. Netflix will also offer multiple language support and this content will be accessible to all customers regardless of subscription plan type.

For the first stage which started on December 30, here is the list of content that can be accessed;

Kickstart Fitness with the Basics (13 episodes)

Two Weeks to a Stronger Core (7 episodes)

Fall in Love with Vinyasa Yoga (6 episodes)

HIT & Strength with Tara (14 episodes)

Feel-Good Fitness (6 episodes)

Other content will be published starting in 2023. But in contrast to Apple Fitness+, where if the user uses an Apple Watch and has an Apple TV, all the exercise journeys, heart rate and the user's abilities will be displayed on the screen.

For Netflix, it'll be like you're doing a guided workout on TV. So to collect data you need to have your own smart watch. Since this is under Nike, there's nothing wrong with using the Nike Training Club app on a Wear OS watch, Apple Watch or others that support it.
