The Nubia Z50 has finally been officially launched in China, just now. Its introduction also provides a new option for devices with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. Some other interesting features and functions that are also loaded on the device include a 144Hz screen, 80W fast charging and a custom camera with a Sony IMX787 sensor.
To be more specific, a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen is used with FHD+ resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. It is then matched with full DCI-P3 color gamut support, 10-bit color depth and a peak brightness of 1,000nits. All of this is packed into the body of the device which features a curved front and back panel.
Next, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip is used with memory up to 16GB RAM (LPDDR5) and internal storage up to 1TB (UFS4.0). The main camera consists of 64MP (Sony IMX787) fitted with a 35mm lens and built-in OIS. It is also followed by a 50MP ultra-wide sensor (Samsuung S5JKN1) and autofocus support for macro shots.
Also included is a 5000mAh battery that supports an 80W wired charging system. The Nubia Z50 comes in a choice of colors such as white, black and green. The selling price starts at RMB2999 (~RM1,901) (8GB/128GB), RMB3399 (~RM2,155) (8GB/256GB), RMB3699 (~RM2345) (12GB/256GB), RMB3999 (~RM2,535) (12GB/ 512GB) and RMB5999 (~RM3803) (16GB/1TB).
At the same time, Nubia also collaborated with the Costa Coffee brand for a special gift box that comes with the Nubia Z50 (12GB/512GB) and some other accessories. This package is offered at a selling price of RMB4199 (~RM2662). No further information on its availability for foreign markets is known at this time.
