OnePlus Flagship Device No Longer Uses 8GB RAM Memory

OnePlus will launch their new flagship device, the OnePlus 11, next week in China before entering the global market in February. They have already revealed the full design and key specifications of this device.

The OnePlus 11 is expected to be their only flagship device and no more Pro models. The device will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, using LPDDRX5 RAM and also UFS 4.0 internal storage. The memory is said to reach up to 16GB of RAM and run the Android 13 operating system.

On Weibo, OnePlus announced that starting next year their flagship device will no longer offer the 8GB RAM variant. On the other hand according to Pete Lau, flagship devices should not use 8GB RAM memory and should start from 12GB RAM. With that, the model with the lowest specifications of the OnePlus 11 will use 12GB of RAM.

This will also continue for other OnePlus flagship devices in the future.
