Oppo Air Glass 2 was shown today at the Oppo Inno Day 2022 event. The update to the original Air Glass that looks like a scout device from the Dragon Ball manga now changes shape to look more like a normal pair of glasses.
These glasses use a micro-LED display that allows text to be displayed on the surface of the glass allowing the virtual world to merge with the real world. There is a feature to answer phone calls and even listen to music streamed directly from a tethered smart device. The total weight of Oppo Air Glass 2 is only 38 grams and it is offered in black and white.
There is no word yet on whether the Air Glass 2 will go on sale to the public and if it will be offered outside of China. Smart glasses technology is among the ones that have gained attention in recent times because it allows the support of AR augmented reality technology.
