Redmagic 8 Pro Design Revealed – Almost Full Frameless

Yesterday we reported that Redmagic will launch their new gaming device, the Redmagic 8 Pro, on December 26. The device is already confirmed to be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip and will use a screen with a new under-screen camera technology.

Through Weibo, Redmagic also revealed the official design of the Redmagic 8 Pro device. It uses a flat square design on each side as well as the top and bottom of the device. This boxy design looks sexy and looks a little thick.

Redmagic 8 Pro is seen placing the volume button on the left side along with a button that looks like a touch button. The right series has a mysterious red physical button with its own texture and another button that clearly looks like a power button. The top and bottom of the device display a neat and simple speaker grid design.

The back panel of the device is seen to have two variations, one is rough like sandpaper and the other is transparent which shows the RGB fan and the location of important components. The most beautiful and the most impatient for us to see for ourselves in front of our eyes is the screen of this device. It uses a very thin bezel that looks like it has no frame. According to Redmagic, the screen-to-body ratio is 93.7% with a bezel on each side of only 1.48mm. Redmagic stated via Weibo that they used a screen panel from BOE to make this design work.

Not only that, Redmagic also showed a new logo for their brand. The red logo looks thinner with a brighter red color and a bolder typeface.
