Undoubtedly, there are various programs available to help startups maximize the potential of their products to be more ready for the market. One of them is the RHB "Get Your Hack On" program, which is now back opening its doors to find new talent who have the potential to create innovative solutions in the digital banking industry.
This program will be held virtually from 13 to 15 January 2023, where each participating group must consist of between 3-5 individuals. Interestingly, participation is open to all individuals who reside legally in Southeast Asian countries (ASEAN), including Malaysia, Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
There is no registration fee charged, in fact the organizers will take care of everything to ensure that all participants have a satisfactory program experience. Next, the contestants have to choose one of the five available challenges to complete. The challenges are as follows:
Challenge 1 – How can we adapt banking solutions to new graduates to grow with them?
Challenge 2 – How can RHB deliver valuable experiences to customers to meet their needs through digital platforms?
Challenge 3 – How to help young people in developing financial literacy to grow their wealth at a young age?
Challenge 4 – How to launch exceptional digital solutions for the small business segment to support its growth?
Challenge 5 – How to expand the RHB insurance distribution network to better meet the needs of the community?
Any of the top 10 shortlisted teams will present their project in the final round which will take place on January 28, 2023. The overall work will be judged on the ability of the participants to develop unique ideas for good solutions, in addition to creative technical ability.
Various lucrative prizes are available, including the chance to win cash worth up to USD10,000 (~RM44,220). Where, the first place winner will take home USD5000 (~RM22,110) in cash.
Meanwhile, second and third place will win USD2500 (~RM11,055) and USD1000 (~RM4,422) respectively. Not to be left out, there is also a consolation prize worth USD200 (~RM884.40) for the next 7 teams.
