Samsung Reportedly Will Launch Exynos 2300 Chip For Only Two Devices

This year the Exynos 2200 chip was disappointing when it was used on the Galaxy S22 series for the European market only. Not only is the chip's performance unable to compete with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 but it also presents various issues not found in models with Snapdragon chips. As a result next year all Galaxy S23 series devices will use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip instead of the Exynos 2200 replacement.

But according to Sammobile's report, the Exynos 2300 has been produced to replace the Exynos 2200. The Exynos 2300 chip will only be used on the Galaxy S22 FE and Tab S8 FE. As we previously reported, the Galaxy S22 FE is believed to replace the discontinued Galaxy A7x series.

Although the Exynos chip is not used in the Galaxy S23 sir, Samsung is still working to produce a special Exynos chip for the Galaxy. A special chip development team has been formed at Samsung Mobile with the target of this special chip to be used from 2025.
