Slowpoke Park To Open In Japan Next Year

Pokemon is a video game and anime series that is quite popular. After 25 years, Ash Ketchum finally became the world champion recently. In the Pokemon series there are 1008 "pocket monsters" have been announced so far in various variations. But one of the most recognizable is Slowpoke.

In Japan's Kagawa, Slowpoke Park will open in April 2023. This mini park will be equipped with a variety of Pokemon-themed children's games that are famous for their humidity. Kagawa became an unofficial banda for Slowpoke because udon food originated from this district. The Japanese name for Slowpoke is Yudon which sounds very similar to udon.

For Pokemon fans who want to go to a real Pokemon theme park, Pokemon Wonder has already opened in Inaki, Tokyo with an area of 48,000 square feet this year. With Japan returning to welcoming tourists post-pandemic, 2023 may be the best year to go to the theme park of this popular video game series.
