Two smartphones under the Tecno Phantom X2 series have been officially announced in Dubai. Known as Tecno Phantom X2 and Tecno Phantom X2 Pro, both have a lot in common both in terms of design and internal hardware.
Through it, a 6.8-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate is used. A layer of Corning Gorilla Glass Victus is also included as an additional protection on the smartphone. Then, the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chip is used as the mainstay with a combination of 12GB RAM memory (LPDDR5) and 256GB internal storage (UFS 3.1). The battery capacity is 5160mAh with a 45W fast charging system and a 32MP selfie camera.
The only difference between the two devices lies in the primary camera configuration. The Phantom X2 Pro is equipped with a 50MP camera that uses an ISOCELL 3.0 1/1.3″ sensor (Samsung ISOCELL GNV), a 50MP telephoto camera (ISOCELL JN1, f/1.5) with 2.5X optical zoom and a 13MP ultra-wide camera (f/2.2). Meanwhile, the Phantom X2 is equipped with a 64MP camera with an RGBW sensor + a 13MP ultrawide camera that also supports macro mode and a 2MP depth camera.
Interestingly, the Phantom X2 Pro is also available in a limited edition finish based on environmentally friendly materials that use a microfiber back panel made from recycled materials. For the sale price, the Phantom X2 Pro is offered at SAR3500 (~RM4090) while the Phantom X2 is priced at SAR2700 (~RM3155).
