The Launch of Visa Prepaid Cards by Touch 'n Go is Getting Closer

Touch 'n Go has stated previously that it will introduce a prepaid card that is linked to the balance of the TNG eWallet digital wallet this December. It is not known whether the prepaid card will be launched this month or otherwise – but TNG is already in the preparation phase for it.

Through TNG Digital's FAQ page, it is seen that the guide and question page related to the product is named as "Touch 'n Go Visa Card". However, it is still not fully accessible.

The Touch n Go Visa Card is seen to be linked to the digital wallet balance - allowing users to spend their digital wallet balance at shops that accept Visa cards.

Through the site as well, it is stated that users can also withdraw money through ATMs that support Visa withdrawals, as many as 5 times a day.

However, based on our previous conversation with TNG eWallet, it is said that this card will not support TNG contactless payments. This is due to the limitation of NFC chips being limited to only one on a card – making it impossible to include both PayWave and TNG support in the same card.
