Good lighting is essential for a satisfying video calling experience. Lenovo has now come up with a unique solution for it by introducing a desk lamp with a built-in webcam, known as the Lenovo Go Dest Station. More interestingly, it also includes a built-in Qi charger that can be pulled out of the lamp base if necessary.
Through the Lenovo Go Desk Station, it can be combined with a web camera with a maximum resolution of 4K/30fps along with a physical shutter for security purposes. As an option, the Lenovo Go 4K Pro Webcam is available separately. Where, it also loads some additional features such as focus support and automatic ambient light adjustment.
Also included is an adjustable lamp angle and height support. In addition to the touch brightness control that provides three setting options, either 3000K, 4500K or 6500K with a brightness of up to 1600 lux at 0.5m. It also includes a USB-C port with an output power of 135W that can be used to charge laptops.
At the same time, there is also support for two USB Type-A 3.1 ports and an HDMI 2.0 output port to connect additional displays with resolutions up to 4K at 60fps. The built-in Qi charging pad supports 15W output power, and there is also a 20W USB Type-C port available on the front.
The Lenovo Go Desk Station will be available from April 2023 with a starting price of $329 (~RM1459). Meanwhile, the Lenovo Go 4K Pro Webcam is priced from $149.99 (~RM665) with availability from March 2023.
