The iPhone SE is the only iPhone series still sold by Apple with a physical home button and small size. Although the design is a bit outdated, it still has a small number of fans who want a device with a classic design. For those who are waiting for the new iPhone SE, according to Ming-Chi Kuo it will probably be launched in 2024.
The new model will not be offered in 2023 to reduce the production costs of developing a new device. Some previous rumors said that the iPhone SE 2024 will reuse the iPhone XR design which marks the end of the era of the physical home button and Touch ID.
iPhone SE Gen-3 that was sold earlier this year did not get a very favorable response. In our review, it's a powerful device but the use of a small LCD screen and lackluster battery life make it difficult for us to recommend it over other iPhone models.
