PC users love to use mechanical keyboards with LED lighting systems that can be customized to display various colors. But it is still limited due to the use of one light for each key. Finalmouse Centerpiece realizes the dream of fully displaying videos, GIFs and animations on all key buttons.
The centerpiece is equipped with a Laminated DisplayCircuit Glass Stack (LDGS) LCD screen behind the transparent key buttons. The switches used were developed together with Gateron. According to Finalmouse, as many as three animations can be stored in the Centerpiece's memory with a special physical button on the side to change them at any time.
New animations can be downloaded using a Steam account with a connection to a PC made using a single USB-C cable. There's a CPU and GPU built into the Centerpiece so it doesn't use the processing power of the PC it's connected to. Finalmouse Centerpiece will be sold starting early 2023 at a price of $349 (~RM1547).
