Twitter Expected to Raise Per-Tweet Limit Up to 4000 Characters

Twitter initially started with a character limit of 140 due to the limit on each SMS once upon a time. After several years of operation, it was further extended and increased its limit with support for 280 characters.

And now, under the administration of Elon Musk, Twitter is once again seen to increase the character limit, to up to 4000 characters for each Tweet.

It is not yet known whether this feature will be integrated with Twitter Notes before, or if it will be integrated directly into the main use of Twitter.

As for you, would you be happy with long Tweets, or would you prefer the 280 character limit?
