WhatsApp today offers a feature called "View Once" - where it supports sending pictures or videos that can be viewed only once, and disappear after opening.
Now, according to the code development on the WhatsApp application, the same feature is expected to be extended to support text messages.
With this step, the text will be hidden when sent, and the user will have to tap to see it. The displayed message will disappear after it is opened.
This feature is expected to be useful for sharing sensitive personal information, including WiFi passwords and so on.
For now, it is not known yet when this feature will be officially introduced.
