YouTube accounts from India are the unsung teachers as there are many free tutorials in English given for free. Is the printer broken? Looking for how to fix it in India? I myself used a tutorial video from India to repair a refrigerator that did not cool during the pandemic because no electrician could come to the house.
YouTube Courses launched last July which allows channel owners to offer paid videos to teach like Masterclasses. Initially it was only given to users in the United States but it is now being extended to India in the form of Beta testing. It will then be given to all content producers in India in 2023.
In India Courses targets teachers who want to teach online with videos for a fee. There is an interactive quiz at the end of the study video to test the level of understanding of the students taking the class.
India is the next destination because according to YouTube in this country alone there are 60 million videos teaching various digital skills and every 1 out of 2 working citizens use YouTube to improve personal skills.
