The Acer Swift productivity laptop series is one of the most popular laptop series in Malaysia and internationally. Combining a thin and light design with powerful components, it can be said to be among the laptops that can be used by students and also workers who use it in various ways.
Recently, at the ongoing CES 2023 event, Acer has shown updates in the Acer Swift series of laptops, Acer Swift X and also introduced the latest laptop models through Acer Swift Go with the introduction of two new models.
Acer Swift Go
Starting with the Acer Swift Go, this series of laptops consists of the Acer Swift Go 16 and Acer Swift Go 14 which both models come with a 16:10 OLED screen display with a resolution of 3200×1200 and a high refresh rate. 120Hz for the 16-inch model, and 2880×1800 with a 90Hz refresh rate for the 14-inch model.
These displays are also capable of displaying 100 percent of the DCI-P3 color gamut and have a brightness value of 500 nits and support DisplayHDR True Black 500 technology that ensures your display displays bright colors regardless of your usage pattern.
Both these laptop models are also powered by Intel's 13th generation Raptor Lake-H processing chip and are classified as Intel Evo platform devices confirming that they are premium thin and light laptops. Cooling the components inside is the new TwinAir cooling system that flows air in and out of this laptop very quietly.
With Thunderbolt 4 support, HDMI 2.1 and even a built-in MicroSD card reader, along with a battery that can last for 9.5 hours, the Acer Swift Go 16 and Acer Swift Go 14 are ready to be your powerful productivity devices.
Acer Swift X
Acer Swift X was introduced as a concept where a thin and light laptop can still be loaded with a separate combination of CPU and GPU. With the second iteration, Acer seems to have successfully combined the Intel Raptor Lake and NVIDIA RTX 4000 processing chips in a frame that is still easy to carry anywhere.
This laptop comes with a 14-inch OLED screen display with a resolution of 2880×1800 powered by a combination of Intel Alder Lake-H processing chips and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 graphics card with built-in NVIDIA Studio software support.
The frame of the laptop has also been updated to accommodate a larger cooling fan to cool the two more powerful components. Just like the Acer Swift Go, it also comes with support for two Thunderbolt 4 plugs, HDMI 2.1 and a microSD card reader.
Acer Swift
Acer's thinnest and lightest laptops are back again with all-new designs and components to give users the freedom to be productive anywhere.
It now has a frame made of aerospace-grade aluminum that allows it to come with a thickness of only 14.5mm and a weight of 1.2kg. It is powered by Intel's 13th generation H-series processor chips.
In terms of display, it comes with a 14-inch display with a resolution of 2560×1600 or 1920×1200 depending on your needs. This laptop also uses the new TwinAir cooling system which combines a large cooling fan and also efficient heat pipes in draining the heat from these components.
Just like the Acer Swift that was launched before, it also comes with an anti-microbial layer that kills bacteria. This is quite important especially if you are someone who focuses on long-term productivity outside the office with this laptop battery that has a lifespan of around 9.5 hours.
