Acer Updates Nitro Laptop Series With Latest AMD, Intel And NVIDIA Offerings


 The Predator is Acer's premium gaming brand, but for those who don't really care about extra features and just care about performance, the Acer Nitro might be for you.


At CES 2023, Acer has announced updates to the Acer Nitro series of laptops as well, including for their Acer Nitro 16 and Acer Nitro 17 laptops with the latest components from AMD, Intel and even NVIDIA.



Acer Nitro 16 comes with a 16-inch screen display with a choice of WUXGA (1600×1200) and WQXGA (2560×1600) resolutions with a refresh rate of 165Hz, while the Acer Nitro 17 comes with a 17.3-inch display with a choice of Full HD (1920× 1080) or QHD (2560×1440) with a refresh rate of 165Hz as well.


These two laptops are also powered by 13th generation Intel processing chips as well as the latest AMD Zen 4 and are combined together with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4000 graphics cards that are powerful enough to run the latest computer games at high resolutions and settings. .



In terms of plugs, Nitro 16 and Nitro 17 come with support for Thunderbolt 4 for Intel models and HDMI 2.1 plugs to connect to gaming displays and also support for WiFi 6E for fast wireless internet connections with low latency.


This Acer Nitro computer series also comes with two cooling fans and four air vents to drain hot air out, while the GPU components use metal liquid to help cool and drain heat from the CPU and GPU components quickly and quickly.



Acer Nitro 16 and Acer Nitro 17 are expected to be introduced in certain markets starting in the middle of this year. Acer Malaysia says that the sales date and price for this gaming laptop will be announced later.
