At the end of 2020 BMW Motorrad has announced the Definition CE 04 electric scooter, which is an electric scooter built on the basis of the C Evolution model. After 3 years, now BMW Motorrad Malaysia announced the appearance of the BMW CE 04 electric scooter for the Malaysian market.
This BMW CE 04 Electric Scooter is powered by an electric engine that provides a maximum power of 31 kW (42PS) and 62Nm of torque allowing acceleration from 0 to 50km/h in 2.6 seconds and a maximum speed of 120km/h.
In terms of battery, the BMW CE 04 has an 8.9 kWh battery that can provide an operating distance of up to 130km. It can be charged using a 3-pin power plug, which will take around 4 hours 20 minutes for a power consumption of 2.3 kW. There is 6.9 kW fast charging which will take around 1 hour 40 minutes.
Being a vehicle from the future, it is also equipped with various interesting features including a 10.25-inch TFT LCD display that provides all driving information, battery, driving distance, and the selection of guides such as Eco, Rain and Road. Even this scooter weighing around 200kg can be reversed using a switch.
This BMW CE 04 Electric Scooter will be sold in Malaysia starting this March, and according to BMW Motorrad Malaysia, the selling price is targeted at around RM 60K, and you don't need a Full B license to drive it.
