Displace Is Now Official – A Wireless Smart TV That Can Be Attached

A few weeks ago, we reported on a new television company called Displace that wants to offer a more unique television experience than usual.

At the CES 2023 event, Displace showed off their television offering of the same name. This television uses a battery pack to power it and can be hung on the wall using normal mounting techniques. This can be done because this television weighs around 9KG only.

Displace also confirms that these battery packs can last up to a month when the television is used for six hours a day. They also demonstrate mounting technology without the need to use any additional equipment such as VESA wall mounts. A wall mount is already built into the television for quick and easy installation.

Displace says that they will also test how strong these fixtures are when a disaster such as an earthquake occurs, or when they are accidentally touched.

Another unique feature of Displace televisions is that several units can be combined to form one larger television. Each of these televisions comes with a size of 55 inches, where two televisions can be combined to become a 110-inch television, and four televisions can be combined to become 220 inches.

This television also does not have any control devices and uses a built-in 4K camera to track the user's movements, where hand movements are used to control the functions of this television.

Pre-orders for this DIsplace television have already started to open for the United States market, where those interested can buy one unit, two units or four units. Each television unit comes with a price of $2999, and goes up to $8999 for a pack of four television units.
