At least a total of 11 categories are presented, starting from Game of the Year, Labor of Love, VR Game of the year, and many more. So that you are not curious, here is a list of winners from each category.

Elden Ring itself has managed to become the best PC game for 2022 in the Steam version, beating big names. The Game of the Year category was filled by Dying Light 2 Stay Human, Stray, God of War and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.

From the explanation Steam gave, the win could have been due to the immersive gameplay or gripping story. There are also well-crafted characters, neat designs, or an addicting multiplayer mode.

"Whatever the reason, this year's Game of the Year Award winner is an instant classic," wrote Steam.

For your information, previously Elden Ring also won Game of the Year at The Game Awards 2022. At that time, he also defeated Stray, and other names such as A Plague Tale: Requiem, God of War Ragnarok, Horizon Forbidden West, and Xenoblade Chronicles 3.
