Fufuly, the Advanced Stress Relief Robot Pillow

There are many interesting products released at CES 2023, one of which is Fufuly, a pillow robot that promises to relieve stress.

Fufuly was made by Yukai Engineering, a robotics company from Japan, which brought Fufuly to Las Vegas, United States of America. According to Yukai, Fufuly relies on his ability to "breathe", and this according to them can help reduce the user's tension or stress.

Even though it's called breathing, it's actually more accurate to say that this pillow can sort of vibrate according to the user's breathing pattern. These vibrations can stimulate the user's breathing pattern, which can then reduce the user's level of tension.

CEO Yukai Shunsuke Aoki said the development of Fufuly was based on research at the University of Tokyo, namely vibrations that resemble one's breath can calm people's minds.

"Using this pillow for five minutes can reduce the user's stress level and make them more focused," said Aoki.

This is similar to when people hold babies or hug pets like cats, which can reduce their stress.

Even though it is called a robot, or maybe it can also be called a smart pillow, there is no application that accompanies this pillow. There is only a button to set the activated mode, namely regular, deep, and a third mode which is based on the popular breathing relaxation technique.

On the official website, it is explained how to use this robotic pillow which is very easy. "It's very easy to use. Turn it on and embrace it. That's all there is to do".

There is no official price for this Fufuly yet, but according to Aoki, the price will be more expensive than Qoobo, a similar product but in the form of a cat pillow, which costs USD 100. The launch itself will only take place in 2023 in Japan, and then it will be launched globally.
