Lenovo Launches Extreme Tab With 14.5″ OLED Screen And Dimensity 9000

Can tablets replace laptops? There have been various efforts made by manufacturers to make this a reality but have yet to succeed. At CES 2023, the Lenovo Tab Extreme was announced as an Android tablet with a giant 14.5″ 3K 120Hz OLED screen and running Android 13.

This tablet is powered by a Dimensity 9000 chip, 12GB RAM memory, 256GB storage and a 12300 mAh battery that supports 68W fast charging. This is paired with a 13+5 MP main camera and a 13MP selfie camera. The audio system used consists of eight JBL speakers that support Dolby Atmos.

A keyboard accessory is supplied for the Tab Extreme with which it can be used horizontally or vertically. For creative people, the tablet screen supports the Lenovo Precision Pen 3 stylus. Because of its large size, the Tab Extreme weighs 740 grams.

Other features provided are a fingerprint scanner on the power button and also support for three versions of Android as well as four years of security patches. Lenovo Tab Extreme will be launched at the end of 2023 at a price of $1200 (~RM5277).
