Microsoft 365 Basic was announced today for $1.99 per month. It is a new plan that is cheaper than Microsoft 365 Personal which can be subscribed for RM22 per month in Malaysia.
Through Microsoft 365 Basic, customers can access web and mobile versions of Word, Excel, OneNote, and OneDrive. Also accepted is 100GB of OneDrive storage. This new plan will be offered starting next January 30 in conjunction with the 10th anniversary of the service's launch
At this time this new plan has not yet been displayed in Microsoft Malaysia so it is not known if it will be offered to local customers at the end of this month. For personal customers, Microsoft Malaysia only offers Microsoft 365 Personal and Microsoft 365 Family.
