Microsoft Reportedly Wants To Invest $10 Billion In OpenAI – The Company Behind ChatGPT And Dall-E

One of the things that has been hotly talked about lately is the ability of artificial intelligence to perform a number of tasks, which is through ChatGPT. Microsoft is already investing in the company behind it, OpenAI – and now it's said that Microsoft will expand that investment even further.

According to recent reports, Microsoft is in talks to invest around $10 billion in OpenAI, valuing the company at around $29 billion.

It is said that under the terms of the investment, Microsoft will receive 75% of OpenAI's profits until their initial investment is recouped, and then Microsoft will have a 49% stake in the company.

With OpenAI expertise highlighted through Dall-E as well as ChatGPT, it should be one of the companies that many new owners target.

Microsoft has also previously been said to want to integrate OpenAI features into their Bing search engine, in addition to productivity software such as Microsoft Word.
