We spend a lot of time editing photos before a review is published. It would be great if there was a system that could simplify the process. German startup Neurapix says it has created an artificial intelligence that can make 600 photo edits a minute after learning each user's personal style.
This artificial intelligence is offered as a plugin for Adobe Lightroom named SmartPreset. After learning the editing style, it can reduce the time a photographer spends in Lightroom by up to 80%. According to them, the editing done is not a preset but changes according to different pictures.
Neurapix charges $0.03 to process each image up to 1,000 images. It then becomes $0.02 cheaper per photo after that. Artificial intelligence systems became increasingly popular last year with ChatGPT, DALL.E 2 and Stable Diffusion being widely used by the public. The Neurapix offer is interesting but do photographers want to allow their work to be produced by artificial intelligence?
