Last night, Apple launched a new MacBook Pro with a choice of Apple M2 Pro or M2 Max chips at a price of RM26,799. The size options are still the same which is 14-inch or 16-inch, the design is still the same as the previous model, the screen is also still with the Liquid Retina XDR panel with a resolution of 3456×2234 and has a notch.
What makes this MacBook Pro really suitable for professional use is that Apple includes an HDMI port as well as an SD card, which many productivity laptops in the same class rarely include. More interestingly, Apple now uses an HDMI 2.1 port that allows the MacBook Pro to be connected to an 8K monitor with a refresh rate of 60Hz or 4K 240Hz.
In Malaysia, the new 14-inch MacBook Pro model is offered at prices starting at RM8799 for the M2 Pro version, and starting at RM13,199 for the M2 Max. As for the 16-inch model, this MacBook Pro is offered at a price starting at RM10,799 for the M2 Pro model, and starting at RM14,799 for the M2 Max model.
