PDRM is now working with Whoscall in sharing data, making it easier for users to install the Whoscall application and identify phone calls from scammers.
For information, PDRM already has data based on various reports made by users. PDRM itself is ready to offer the Check Scammers CCID application that allows you to input a phone number and identify whether it belongs to a scammer or vice versa.
However, with Whoscall, it makes the process even easier. The user will be displayed with caller info when a call comes into the user's phone – and if it is a call or message from a scammer, then it will be labeled. This move is expected to help many, especially those who are not tech savvy to avoid scammers.
For those of you who are interested, you can download the Whoscall application, and better protect yourself from being a victim of fraud.
