Lately, we can see that many popular gaming display brands have started to introduce displays that are the size of a television. Predator, the gaming brand under Acer has also just introduced their own giant gaming display offering called the Predator X45.
This Predator X45 uses an ultra-wide 45-inch OLED panel with a resolution of 3440×1440 pixels and a 240Hz refresh rate. Another addition to the Predator X45 is that it uses a curved panel with an 800R curve and can display 98.5 percent of the DCI-P3 color gamut.
This display is also seen as very suitable for not only computer games but also for watching movies and television series because it has a brightness value as high as 1000 nits and supports HDR10 technology. It also has a value of UGR<22 which means that this display will present with glare issues even if it is placed in a location with an open light source.
In terms of plugs, the Predator X45 comes with HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.4 plug support which is quite suitable for powerful computer use, especially if your computer comes with graphics cards that support AMD FreeSync Premium graphics technology or NVIDIA G-SYNC.
The display of the Predator X45 gaming screen will go on sale at a date to be announced around the end of the first quarter and the second quarter of this year.
