PUBG Mobile is updated to version 2.4, and one of the updates is the Martial Showdown mode, a martial arts festival featuring Bruce Lee.
In this mode, players looking for a challenge worthy of a black belt can partake in various martial arts activities and earn special items to celebrate.
In addition, there is an update to the Metro Royale mode, which brings a new map called Misty Port, new weapons and vehicles that can be brought into battle, Ranked Cycle 4 Season 10 and Royale Pass Month 19 which brings a number of new cosmetics to try.
Players can use the agile Dancing Lion vehicle that can be stowed in their backpack, to quickly transport a rider and a passenger across the battlefield, with the ability to jump and run.
However, this feature will only appear around Marked Martial Arts Arenas on the map - half of them are unlocked and the other half are locked until the end of the countdown.
New items include the Grappling Hook which is great for avoiding tricky situations, and the Bow, a ranged weapon perfect for silent play. Apart from using regular Bolts, players are now able to deal area damage thanks to Explosive Bolts!
Players can now take on fierce revenge missions with the new Back For Honor feature. After being eliminated and re-entering the game, players can hunt down the enemy that killed them within the time limit.
Rewards will be awarded to revenge seekers for eliminating their targets, or to targets for evading revenge seekers.
Oh yes, PUBG Mobile is also working with The Bruce Lee Family Company to present Bruce Lee Kung Fu Soul Set, Melee Expert Set, and Mr. The Kung Fu Set is available to give players the look of an iconic martial arts master starting January 10th.
The Version 2.4 update of PUBG Mobile also brings major updates to firearms and vehicles. Starting today, the new AAC Honey Badger weapon will be available on Erangel, Sanhok and Livik, with a 7.62mm bullet and a high rate of fire, making it perfect for close combat!
In addition, FAMAS will be available on Erangel, while QBZ, SMG and Motor Ride mechanics have been improved. Lastly, Bikes with a capacity of 2 passengers are now available to ride with friends from the Bike Warehouse, which are now available at Miramar and Livik, as well as Erangel. Mountain Bikes are now also accessible in the Livik Desert.
Other improvements include new Fable equipment with 1-2 special traits, four new items available and sold only in the new map, increased armor resistance to explosives, and increased inventory capacity.
Also coming on January 17th is Month 19 Royale Pass: Boiling Blood, which brings new rewards, RP Favorite Chest updates, and access to favorite rewards from previous seasons. The Golden Chicken Server, Bonus RP Points and Group Purchases will also continue to roll out, as well as a number of new RP Missions that can be completed in Metro Royale.
