Razer Leviathan is a gaming soundbar specifically for use with a monitor. In 2022, two Leviathans were launched, the Leviathan V2 and the Leviathan V2 X. At the CES 2023 event, another model was launched, the Leviathan V2 Pro.
It's their flagship soundbar with THX audio support, but even better because it also supports head tracking so the audio the user hears is always balanced and immersive.
Razer uses an artificial intelligence head tracking camera system to track the user directly so that the audio output will always reach the user's ears. The camera used is an infrared camera by Audioscenic. With this technology, Razer can include virtual headset spatial audio support as if the user is wearing a set of headphones and virtual speaker spatial audio for total immersive audio.
For control, as usual there are several physical buttons for the equalizer, 3D THX Spatial Audio Virtual Headset mode and THX Spatial Audio Virtual Speakers, volume adjustment rotary knob and power button, source button and also the Razer Chroma button.
For audio, the Razer Leviathan V2 Pro uses five front-facing 5-inch active audio drivers. Then in every purchase, Razer also includes a subwoofer that uses one 5.25-inch audio driver.
Razer Leviathan V2 Pro also supports 3.5mm audio jack connection, USB-C, Bluetooth 5.0 and all controls can also use the Razer Audio application which is supported on Android and iOS devices.
The local selling price has not been announced yet, but in the US it sells for $399.99 – around RM1,758.
