Leaked specifications for the Galaxy A14 4G
Unlike the 5G models that have been announced globally, Samsung has yet to release the Galaxy A14 4G anywhere. Even so, this HP leak has been circulating.
The Galaxy A14 4G is said to have a larger screen than its predecessor. If the Samsung A13 4G carries 6.6 inches, the successor appears with a 6.8 inch screen.
This cellphone screen has Full HD + resolution and supports a 90Hz refresh rate for a smoother scrolling experience. At the top of the screen is still decorated with a water drop notch which houses the 13 MP selfie camera.
Three cameras are mounted on the back, not four like the A13 4G. Samsung is likely to embed a 50 MP main camera accompanied by a 2 MP depth camera and 2 MP macro.
The kitchen runway for the Samsung A14 4G is said to rely on the Exynos 1330 chipset. But there are also leaks that say the Helio G88 will be the brain.
The chip will be paired with 4GB of RAM and internal memory starting at 64GB. The operating system used is Android 13.
To support user mobility, a battery with a capacity of 5,000 mAh supports 15W fast charging. Not to forget the A14 4G features NFC, USB Type C, 3.5 mm audio jack and a fingerprint sensor on the power button.
The Galaxy A14 5G carries an IPS LCD panel with a screen size of 6.6 inches which is slightly larger than its predecessor. The screen has also been upgraded from 720p to FHD+. Don't miss the 90Hz refresh rate support and the notch on the screen in the shape of a water drop.
Samsung has provided this phone with the MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset, just like its predecessor. The configuration is still the same, with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory which can be expanded with a microSD slot.
On the back there are three cameras consisting of a 50 MP main camera, a 2 MP macro camera and a depth sensor. The front camera resolution has also been increased from 5 MP to 13 MP.
The battery capacity is 5,000 mAh with support for 15W fast charging. The Galaxy A14 5G will be available in four color options, namely Black, Light Green, Dark Red and Silver.
The Galaxy A14 5G immediately launched with the latest Android 13 operating system with One UI 5. Samsung promises two operating system upgrades and security updates for four years for the Galaxy A14 5G.
The Samsung Galaxy A14 5G is released at a price of USD 200 in the United States and will be available starting January 12, 2023. This phone will also be available in several European countries in the next few months.
